Hunter Education

It’s never too late to learn.

At Johnson County Pheasants & Quail Forever, getting new hunters and shooters involved in the sport is one of our major missions.

With that in mind, we’ve found a lack of hunter safety certification courses to be a limiting factor. In an effort to provide more of these valuable courses, our chapter periodically hosts these important training events at no cost to participants – who must all be at least 11 years of age. We will announce upcoming training events as soon as they are scheduled. Check our Events page to see when our next training opportunity will be! Until then, be sure to visit the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism website to learn more about Hunter Education.
