Chapter Overview

Founded in 2002, the Johnson County, Kansas Pheasants & Quail Forever Chapter has grown to nearly 1,000 members. We are active in our Kansas City community and work to support outdoor experiences for women and youth, hunter education, target and wing shooting opportunities, and habitat/conservation work throughout the state of Kansas.

We bring our mission to life by hosting an annual fundraising banquet, shotgun shooting clinics, a youth/women’s hunt, hunter education courses, habitat and pollinator projects, along with financial support for local high school shooting teams.

As an organization, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever allow chapters to determine how their locally-raised conservation funds will be spent. Following this model, our chapter has distributed more than $100,000 for education activities, habitat improvement, and conservation.

If you are interested in becoming a member or getting involved, we invite you to stop by one of our meetings or contact our chapter President, Heath Hayden, so that we can get some more information from you.
