2010 Youth Hunt Dates

This year’s Johnson County Pheasants Forever “Rick Funk” Memorial Youth & Women’s Hunt and Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Eckman’s Hunting Preserve located at 988 E. 1800 Road, Baldwin City, Kansas (1/2 hour west of Lenexa).

Youth Hunt activities will be held for hunters between 12 and 15 years old. Each youth is required to have an adult sponsor and Hunter Safety Certificate.

For the second year in a row, we’re inviting women with limited hunting experience to join in the fun as well.

While hunters get to chase ringneck pheasants behind well-trained dogs, this event is fun for the entire family. Archery, casting competitions, lunch, target shooting, GPS Geocaching. It’s pretty easy to fill up an entire day, and we invite and encourage you to come out and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

If you would like to register for this year’s hunt email us to receive an application and waiver.
